Anna thus ended up on a transformation journey where she had to balance the need for certain structures demanded by laws and regulations and the development team’s passion for Agile/Lean principles. Anna has also experienced that the team she managed shifted from a fairly large & centralized pool of project managers towards a more de-centralized set-up. Before joining NetEnt, Anna worked as an IT-Management Consultant and IT-Manager for more than 15 years.

Managing for quality.

Many organizations see advantages, which come together with Agile. They remodel development teams, they appoint new roles, but with all these changes they seem to forget about one element – is our testing efficient enough to create a high-quality product? The answer starts with understanding that testing is not a single phase during the project and we won’t solve all problems at the end of development, if we won’t start taking care of them from the beginning.

Thomas Lönnegren has a decade of experience in the discipline of decision theory and prioritization.
It is a very exciting area and the challenges are similar, regardless if it is about requirements in a backlog, projects in an IT-organization or marketing activities in the marketing organization. Since there are many stakeholders with different objectives, it is often a difficult task to find a common ground to define what is important.

One of the topics for this day is how to manage the ever-growing backlog. Thomas will provide you with some tools and techniques to manage this challenge and also how to collaborate with the different stakeholders to reach a common conclusion.
At the end of the day, it is critical for an extended team to share the same view of what is important and what is just noise.
We will also talk about the Pareto principle, how to identify the vital few from the trivial many.

Leo joined iZettle in 2013 as part of the Expansion Team. At that point in time iZettle was roughly 70 people, all about face-to-face card payments for small businesses and the focus was launching the service to new markets. Leo later transitioned into and took part in building what today is the iZettle Product Management function. Today iZettle is a 500+ employee company, live in 12 markets, in a state of rapid growth and has a significantly expanded product portfolio. Since one year Leo holds the position as Chief Product Officer. Prior to iZettle Leo worked in the Financial Services industry.

Customer Context – what a B2B-product like iZettle can highlight about the many layers of customer problems.

Understanding the problems of your customer rarely stops at collecting, analysing and listening to direct feedback about your Product. While this input is of course core – another key element is to gain a deeper understanding of the context within which your customer live her life. Working with iZettle which is a B2B-product quite clearly highlights this problem since a successful Product Manager not only needs to understand the direct customer (the small business-owner) but also the customer of the customer. To solve the biggest issues of an iZettle-customer you need to take a clear view on consumer behaviour – so the full context becomes significantly larger. This is a pretty big task and we are not saying that we are nailing it – but we do try.

Jeanette och Peter har mellan sig 28 års erfarenhet av agilt arbete på stora och små bolag. Duon kommer med erfarenhet av agila transformationer inom läkemedel-, bank-, försäkring- och datorspels-branschen. De är vana föreläsare och utbildare inom bl. a. ledarskap och Scrum. För närvarande Jobbar Jeanette på Swedbank som agil coach och Peter på FEO media som senior producer.

Duons spännande dynamik kommer från helhetsbilden av både traditionella storföretag och snabbrörliga modena bolag och alla nyanser som ryms däremellan.

Den ekonomiska vinkeln

En av de viktigaste förväntade vinsterna med att använda ett agilt arbetssätt är korta ledtider, vilket leder till snabbare return of investment och bättre likviditet. Kostnader och ekonomi är den viktigaste faktorn för stora som små bolag och det är dessutom det starkaste språk som företagsledare lyssnar till, och både Lean Startup och SAFe (“Take the economic view.”) har lyft fram vikten av att koppla ihop agilitet och ekonomisk hållbarhet. Peter och Jeanette kommer dela sin erfarenhet av hur product managers kan förbättra sin position på marknaden och öka kassaflödet genom att applicera en agil approach till produktledning.
