Lightning talk: The agile enterprise
What does agility mean in an organizational context, and how does that influence the development organization and the decisions made at a portfolio level? Is an agile project really a project? Or is it a program? Or maybe a portfolio? Or can it be all of them? How do you mix hardware development with software development? How do you procure agile development? How do you scale agile, and how do you manage development at a portfolio level? How do you make corporate strategies that work with agile development? How do various organizations handle dependencies? And why do some agile organizations fail? In this talk, a lot of common preconceptions of agile will be challenged, and some solutions will be suggested. You will better understand why it is harder to become agile in some cases, while it is a perfect match in others.
